Little monkey story: Who Doesn’t Like to Wash His Hands
The little monkey didn’t practice good hygiene. Every time before eating, he wouldn’t wash his hands. The children at kindergarten didn’t like him. When it was time for lunch, the children lined up and washed their hands thoroughly, scrubbing them clean and neat.
Only the little monkey didn’t wash his hands. During mealtime, he would grab food from this child’s bowl and peek into that child’s bowl, making it impossible for the other children to eat.
The little rabbit started crying… “Wah wah wah wah wah!”
The other children also started crying. The little monkey, puzzled, scratched his head and said, “I didn’t bully you.”
Teacher Goat came over and said, “Little monkey, it’s because you usually don’t like to wash your hands and don’t practice good hygiene that the children don’t like you.”
The little monkey said, “I just want to play with my friends.”
Teacher Goat said, “But it’s not right to put your dirty hands into other children’s bowls. This way, they can’t eat their food.” Realizing his mistake, the little monkey went to wash his hands, making them clean and comfortable. The little rabbit and the other children no longer disliked the little monkey because everyone likes children who keep clean.
