Children story about the sea
Dada built a large castle by the sea.
“Mom, look at my big castle!” Dada said excitedly.
“What? It’s just a big pile of dirt!” a voice called out, but it wasn’t Mom.
“Who is it, who is it?” Dada said angrily.
Swoosh—crash! Dada’s big castle collapsed into tiny grains of sand.
“Ha ha, it’s me!” It was a little wave that had knocked it over.
Dada saw the little wave at his feet and stomped angrily: “It’s all your fault, I hate you, I’ll stomp on you, stomp on you, stomp you flat.”
The little wave ran away, and Dada chased it, stomping on the tail of the wave, leaving footprints on the sand.
A strong wind blew, and the little wave turned into a big wave, chasing Dada, and Dada’s footprints were washed away.
Seeing this, Dada turned and ran. The big wave chased and slapped Dada’s butt.
Seeing it about to catch up, Dada jumped into his mother’s arms: “Mom, the little wave hit my butt.”
Mom put Dada down and asked the little wave, “Little wave, do you want to be friends with Dada?”
Clap, clap, clap, the little wave splashed against the rocks, saying, “Yes, yes! Hi, Dada!”
Dada, hiding behind his mother, said quietly, “Hi, little wave.”
The little wave happily touched Dada’s feet. Hee hee, ha ha, it tickled! Dada laughed and lay on the ground, trying to tickle the little wave back.
Hee hee, ha ha, it tickled! Dada and the little wave became good friends.
When night fell, the little wave had to go home. It didn’t want to leave Dada and gave him many beautiful gifts. Dada filled a bucket with the gifts and said to the sea: “Thank you for the shells, little wave. Goodbye!”
