Adventure story for kid: Three Brother Mice – The Starlight Box
Lately, it’s been so troublesome. It rains every day in the village, so we can’t see the sun during the day or the stars and moon at night.
If this continues, the crops will all die.
The three brother mice sat down for a meeting.
Every time they sat down for a meeting, the brother mice would come up with a solution. This time, they came up with an idea again.
They began to act.
The three brother mice, drenched in the rain, carried a very heavy iron box and walked a long, long way.
They climbed over nine mountains and crossed nine rivers, finally reaching a sunny place.
They opened the iron box and collected the brilliant sunshine into the box.
The three brother mice then carried the very heavy iron box and headed back to their now very distant home.

The three brother mice climbed to the rooftop, ding ding ding, and they drilled many small holes in the iron box. The sunlight shone through the small holes, looking like many twinkling stars from afar.
Many stars in the distance saw the starlight box and said, “Look, there are many stars over there. Let’s go and see.”
So, the stars all came to the sky above the village.
When the stars came, the rain stopped, and the next day, the sun came out.
All the animals in the village were celebrating the arrival of the sunny weather. However, the three brother mice were sighing in their room, “Sigh, we only have this one iron box, and now it’s full of holes…”
