Children’s story about rain
Mama Bear and her baby, Little Bear Girl, went out. It started to rain.
Mama Bear opened a beautiful umbrella, and she and Little Bear Girl listened to the raindrops dancing and singing on the umbrella.
To keep the raindrops from getting Little Bear Girl’s clothes and her bow wet, Mama Bear always tilted the umbrella towards Little Bear Girl’s side.
When the rain stopped, Mama Bear closed the umbrella.
Little Bear Girl touched herself and found that she wasn’t wet at all. But when she looked at Mama, half of her body was completely wet. Little Bear Girl said, “How come I didn’t get wet, but Mama did? What a strange umbrella this is!”
Little Bear Girl grew up and became a mother too.
One day, Mama Bear was walking with her baby, Little Bear Brother. Raindrops started to fall from the sky. Mama Bear opened the beautiful little umbrella, and they listened to the raindrops singing and dancing on the umbrella.
To keep Little Bear Brother from getting wet, and to keep the raindrops from wetting his clothes and his new little soccer ball, Mama Bear always tilted the umbrella towards Little Bear Brother’s side.
When the rain stopped, Mama Bear closed the umbrella.
Little Bear Brother looked at himself and his little soccer ball and saw that they weren’t wet at all. But Mama Bear was wet on one side. He said, “This really is a strange little umbrella!”
Mama Bear said, “Yes, my mama also had an umbrella like this!”
