One day, Mr. Frog found an old shoe. He thought, “This is a good thing.” So he took the old shoe home and, after a lot of clanging and banging, turned it into a racing car.
Mr. Frog drove the car to find Miss Toad and said, “This is your birthday present from me.” Miss Toad liked it very much and immediately took the car for a spin.
As she was driving, suddenly the car flew off the road and crashed into Little Bear’s soccer ball! The soccer ball was sent flying into the sky. Little Bear angrily said, “Annoying! How are you driving?” Miss Toad quickly apologized, “Sorry, sorry.”
Miss Toad got back on the road, but suddenly the car flew off the road again and crashed into Old Goat’s ball of yarn! Old Goat angrily said, “Annoying! How are you driving?” Miss Toad quickly apologized, “Sorry, sorry.”
The car drove on, and suddenly it flew off the road again, crashing into Little Pig’s watermelon stand! Little Pig angrily said, “Annoying! How are you driving?” Miss Toad quickly apologized, “Sorry, sorry.”
Miss Toad was also getting angry. “This car keeps causing trouble, so annoying!” She threw the car aside and ran off to drink soda. As she drank, Miss Toad’s belly swelled up like a ball.
Suddenly, the car rushed towards her. Miss Toad screamed in fright, “Ah, help!” Just then, a soccer player rushed over and picked up the car. “So my soccer shoe is here.”
Miss Toad breathed a sigh of relief. “Ah, so this car was made from a soccer shoe, no wonder it keeps kicking round things!”
Without the car, Miss Toad had to walk home. Although it was tiring, at least she didn’t have to worry about the car causing trouble anymore.
