Little Hedgehog had a bad habit in class.
He loved to talk, make little movements, and daydream.
So, when he listened to the teacher, he always listened in bits and pieces, and of course, his knowledge was fragmented, and his grades were pretty bad.
One day, Mr. Bear came to teach the Chinese class.
Mr. Bear was quite old and had a bit of a hunchback. He laboriously turned the pages of the book, teaching seriously. Actually, at this moment, little Hedgehog’s mind had already flown out the window to the small tree, where two little birds were eating wild berries…
After Mr. Bear finished teaching a text, he paused and said, “The next article has a few sections that are easy to understand, so I’ll let you read them on your own. I will be teaching in bits and pieces.”
Little Hedgehog didn’t hear the first part of the sentence, only catching the last bit.
He was surprised and said to the little Squirrel next to him, “Poor Mr. Bear, it’s already tiring enough for him to stand and teach, why does he need to teach while jumping? Can he even jump?”
Everyone in the class heard this and burst into laughter.
Mr. Bear laughed too and said, “Thank you for your concern. It’s because you listen in bits and pieces that you think I will teach while jumping, but actually, I can’t jump…”
Amidst the laughter, little Hedgehog embarrassedly scratched his head.
